EndoDEX (com.dextersoft.endodex), developed by DexterSoft, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information handled through the application.

EndoDEX is intended for healthcare professionals and medical education. It is a clinical support tool and does not replace medical judgment, individualized patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment decisions, or institutional protocols.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Email address, profile name, and a unique user identifier (UID) to manage your account.
  • Clinical Case Data: Information manually entered by the user, including clinical history, symptoms, infertility-related data, surgical findings, classification inputs, scores, and saved cases.
  • Generated Reports: Clinical summaries, integrated results, scores, and PDF reports generated by the application.
  • Subscription Data: Subscription or purchase status managed by Google Play, Apple App Store, or other payment providers when applicable.
  • Device and Technical Data: Basic technical information required for authentication, synchronization, app functionality, security, and troubleshooting.

2. Sensitive Clinical Information

Clinical information entered into EndoDEX may constitute sensitive health information. The user is responsible for ensuring that any patient-related information entered into the app complies with applicable privacy laws, professional duties, and institutional policies. Users should avoid entering directly identifiable patient information unless they are authorized to do so.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Clinical Calculations: To calculate and display endometriosis-related classifications and scores, including rASRM, #Enzian, EFI, and related clinical pathways.
  • Case Management: To save, organize, retrieve, and update clinical cases created by the user.
  • Reports and Export: To generate clinical summaries and PDF reports.
  • Synchronization: To synchronize saved data across devices when cloud synchronization is enabled.
  • Account and Premium Features: To authenticate users, verify subscription status, manage purchases, and provide access to premium features.

4. Local Storage and Cloud Synchronization

EndoDEX may store data locally on your device to allow offline use. If cloud synchronization is enabled, selected data may also be stored in secure cloud services associated with your account. Generated PDFs may be created locally on the device unless sharing or synchronization features are used.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services, including Google Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and related Firebase services for authentication, data storage, synchronization, and backend functionality. Google Play and Apple App Store may be used to manage purchases and subscriptions. Payment providers may be used for web-based purchases when available.

6. User Control and Data Deletion

You retain control over the data you create in EndoDEX. You can delete saved cases from the app. If account deletion is available in the app, you may delete your account and associated cloud data from within the application. You may also contact us to request assistance with data deletion.

7. Security

We implement standard security practices to protect your information, including authentication and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. The user remains responsible for using the application in accordance with local privacy regulations and institutional security policies.

8. Medical Disclaimer

EndoDEX is a clinical support and educational tool intended for healthcare professionals. The application does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or guarantees of clinical outcomes. All medical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating physician or healthcare professional.

9. Children

EndoDEX is not intended for use by children. The application is designed for healthcare professionals, medical trainees, and related professional users.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
